We are "goldfinders"...
... in the Canadian Yukon Territory. As a modern placer gold exploration company our duty is to discover new deposits and to develop successful mining sites. To achieve this goal we invest an enormous amount of energies, by securing our prospects (staking claims and leases) and then testing claim after claim. We select carefully our ground, by keeping only the best part and let the rest behind. Gold always played an important rule in the economy of all civilizations and today is still an important milestone for financial stability. ...And it's also true: after a day of hard work, to watch that gold in the sluice or in the bottom of the pan is a unique feeling!
We are not miners, not actual gold miners who mine the gold every day,
but we explore new areas where mining would be worthwhile and market claims that are worth mining for.
You may wonder why we do not mine this ourselves, the answer is simple:
We receive at least 10% of the gold found, without any investment or risk,
no matter if mining makes a lot or little profit.
Andreas Macherey
As the star of the DMAX hit series 'Goldrausch in Australien,' Andreas has been recognized as Germany's most prominent gold prospector since 2013. Along with his production team, he oversees content creation, selects filming locations, and ensures the successful execution of the show on-site.
Andreas started this show with his two sons, Tobias and Benjamin. As protagonists of the DMAX hit series 'Gold Rush in Australia,' all three have already gained nationwide recognition in Germany. The TV series, now in its 7th season with over 35 episodes, is among the top 5 prime-time shows on DMAX, a channel belonging to the Warner Bros. Discovery group.
Since 2013, the successful format has been a long-running favorite on DMAX, attracting well over 3 million viewers annually in the German market. In addition to the new seasons, reruns of previously aired episodes continue to enjoy years of success on DMAX, DMAX.de, or Joyn.
Andreas began his professional journey by founding the specialized travel agency 'Boomerang Reisen.' As the owner and CEO, he grew the company to over 20 locations with 100 employees before successfully selling it to TUI Germany. Andreas' involvement in the tourism industry didn’t end with Boomerang Reisen- he went on to establish and currently runs a 4-star lodge in South Africa known as Cultivar Guest Lodge.
Today, Andreas is an entrepreneur, adventurer, world explorer, farmer, and hunter. His love for animals and nature led him to fulfill a lifelong dream by establishing his own EU-certified organic farm, where he raises Highland cattle and fallow deer. Driven by passion, he dedicates himself to various projects in Germany, Australia, Canada, and South Africa, always bringing boundless energy and unwavering commitment to everything he does.
Andreas has joined Yukon Exploration and is the point of contact for marketing, cooperations, ideas, and concepts in Germany.

Sandro Frizzi †, (geologist/prospector)
Sandro was a geologist active in the Yukon since 2005 and resident of Dawson City since 2010.
He retiered in 2022, unfortunately, he passed away in July 24.
His ideas and values will always remain a guide for us.
Today several mining operations are producing gold on virgin ground exposed by him.
